Do you like blogging but go through immense anxiety when you start to write the first lines of new post? It feels like you rather do some surfing then writing a post.

This feeling is ubiquitous in every writer, from the starting ones to the pro’s of this blogging industry. It is because first few lines are the ones which will decide weather reader will read it further or skip to next blog. There is a pressure on the mind, to achieve the best of your abilities.

So how do I get thru this one??

• First of all, it is not necessary to write the first line while starting to write a new post. Write your post first, the body of text which you want to convey to your reader. When your post is complete, start the task of writing the first few lines, giving the gist of your post…..…That way, the reader will read the start of your post and will read on to know more about it.

• Start a post with a good quote, which identifies with your blog subject. There are millions of quote on sites like thinkexist.com and brainyquote.com. Stating a quote adds value to your blog post as it precisely defines your point.

• Share a personal insight: Begin your blog post with a personal experience or some incident that identifies with your blog subject. This is a best way to start, since blogging is a personal medium of communication.

• State a fact: starting a blog with an informed fact is a very good way to grab a reader’s attention. Take a controversial or unbelievable fact to grasp your reader’s attention.
